What if… instead of shaking hands to seal an agreement (a ritual rooted in patriarchal commerce and colonial diplomacy), we pressed foreheads together in silence, exchanging breath rather than words, making contracts of care rather than contracts of ownership?

This project challenges students to deconstruct a “mundane ritual” perpetuated by colonial, patriachal, heteronormative systems, and reimagine it both cinematically and spatially through a compelling 60 second film.

This is a call to re-think, re-write, and re-stage existence itself.
